Medication Safety

Medications are intended to provide a positive outcome for health conditions, but when taken incorrectly, they can become poisonous and very harmful. During the Medication Safety workshops, we discuss how bad things can happen to good people when medications are not fully understood and are accidentally misused. We teach from adolescents to geriatrics, covering topics including household, over the counter and prescription medication poisoning, the opioid epidemic and proper medication adherence.
